Smartphone – Bantam Weight contenders

I was looking to replace my 2 year old iPhone 3GS and this time my budget was within 15K and I was looking for a decently powered smartphone with a decent screen size and reliability. I would like to call this the bantam weight category of smartphones, which to say the truth has lots of contenders if the many Indian and chinese brands like Micromax, Xolo, Karbonn, Gionee with their Quad core android phones with 5″ + screen sizes…

But I didn’t want a phablet or anything that was too big, I preferred a screen size of 4″ and in the budget of 15K I was sure I could get a decent dual core processor with more than 512 MB RAM and with atleast Android 4.1 on board. So here were my shortlisted candidates….

Nokia Lumia 620 Nokia Lumia 620

Cons

  • 512 MB RAM
  • Choices of Apps
Samsung Galaxy Advance Samsung Galaxy S Advance

  • Dual core processor with 768 MB RAM
  • Slim design and AMOLED screen

HTC Desire X HTC Desire X

So these were my options ..Is there any better alternatives out there ? Please post your comments…
