Previously I’ve written a post on how you can manage your mobile service provider (in India) on the go here …..This time I thought would point to banking apps which would help us manage our bank accounts on the go.
- Axis Mobile : I use this app as the most and this has undergone some major change a month or so back with the user interface becoming more refined and with lots of features added into it. The initial setup took me some time as I didn’t have sms banking in my number (note : this app needs sms banking to be activated for this app to get activated). A pin needs to be set for extra security. Once logged in, it show the Savings Account , Credit card details which you have linked to your account. I didn’t find any option to see Fixed / Recurring deposits. There was options to recharge mobile (which was easy), pay bill, transfer amount to other accounts. A nicely done app I should say…
- HDFC Bank MobileBanking : This app is for HDFC bank as stated by the name. I use it very rarely but it also has a good interface might be not as refined as Axis mobile app. But it also has features similar to Axis app like ATM locator and also lists your FD / RD accounts.
- And here are links to other bank apps in the play store
ICICI Mobile Banking
State Bank Freedom
HSBC Mobile Banking
CanMobile (Canara Bank)
Yes Mobile (Yes Bank)
